Personal Coaching and Internet Marketing (online marketing services)

By Michael Soliven

So you’ve just started an online business. The feeling of excitement is there as you’re dreams of making tons of money flood your mind. But what’s next?

Many beginning Internet marketers fall into the trap of not preparing themselves for the tough tasks ahead of running a business. Many people have profited from the Internet. However, there are countless novices who have failed due to lack of direction in effective online marketing.

This is where personal coaching and mentorship become very important. I’m sure you’ve been sold on the fact that the online business you’ve just gotten into is the next big thing. The person or sponsor who brought you in is probably excited too, because that means more money for them. But what steps have you taken to really get to know this person? Have you made contact with them? I’ve compiled a list of important things to keep in mind when you’re looking to create a business relationship with someone.

1. Always talk to the person FIRST before signing up.

If you’re on the verge of signing up with a potential sponsor, it’s a very good idea to make contact with that person. Do they have a number that you can call? Are they easy to talk to? Are they knowledgeable of the product or service that you’ll be marketing? Will they support and direct you? Get to know this person, because they will most likely determine your success in that program.

2. Have weekly contact with your sponsor.

If you’re new to Internet marketing, you’re going to need develop a game plan. Does your new sponsor/coach have a duplicatable plan in place for you? This person must be an effective teacher for you to succeed. Learning from trial and error is fine, but why take that route when someone else has already experienced the process. Set weekly meetings with this person, so that they can help you track your progress and hold you accountable for your goals.

3. Be a coach to someone else.

Finally, your online success is probably going to be determined by how effective of a coach you are to others. Your business will be successful, and you must teach others how to be successful as well. Be in contact with your new people. Add value to them. Show them what works for you. You will see your business explode if you just help others. Zig Ziglar, the sales and marketing legend, says that if you help just enough people get what they want, you will get what you want!

The Four Different Leaflet Distribution Flavours - Which One Are You? (online marketing)

November 23rd, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Dominic Donaldson

For years the advertising and marketing industry have been selling their wares and getting their messages across through leaflet distribution. It’s a simple and cost effective way of raising a profile and selling a product, but there is a lot more to it than a piece of paper with text and graphics printed on it. There are several other factors at play; location, amount, coverage and even what type of leaflet.

The type of leaflet used in a leaflet distribution campaign can say a lot about the product or service you are advertising. It can convey humour or seriousness, the quality of your product and the availability. The choice of what type of medium you choose in your leaflet distribution campaign should be one of the first decisions you make. Making the wrong decision could completely negate any positive effects that the rest of your campaign has.

The word leaflet is widely used to encompass all forms of printed material that can be used in leaflet distribution but also has a more specific meaning. There are in fact four different types of printed material that can be used in a campaign of which a leaflet is just one.

Leaflet - A leaflet is a single printed piece of paper which is usually folded. These leaflets are also known as flyers. They are the easiest to produce, both logistically and economically, and can be used to promote everything from businesses to products and services. They are commonly posted through letter boxes, handed out in the street or inserted into newspapers. Flyers come in many sizes and can be very plain or given a glossy finish to convey a certain image.

Their widespread use has been complimented by the increase in desktop publishing and the ability to combine text and images on home computers. The finished products can be printed at home or sent to a commercial printer. In both instances the images, the message is printed on just one side although this is not always so and leaflets with print on both sides are increasingly common.

Pamphlet - A pamphlet is an unbound series of printed sheets. For businesses or products that have more to advertise or say using a pamphlet in a leaflet distribution campaign is preferable to a leaflet in that it has more space and scope to explain sometimes complicated or list several products or services and any variations on those products or services as well. The fact that it is unbound also means that it is still an affordable option for most businesses.

Pamphlets are often used by businesses that offer a more bespoke service or to sell products that are more exclusive or high end. The look of a pamphlet conveys more of a degree of quality and that can be important depending on what is being advertised.

Poster - Posters can come in all sorts of sizes, usually from A4 onwards. Although posters are more suited to site specific campaigns and are associated with billboards they are becoming increasingly popular in leaflet distribution. They are not as disposable as pamphlets and leaflets and so the thought is that they will be kept longer and displayed in places that it is not easy to get a message displayed. They also convey added quality.

Brochure - A brochure is a step up from a pamphlet in that it is often bound and printed on higher quality material. A brochure is designed to be kept a lot longer than pamphlets and leaflets, often as long as a year. Brochures go into more detail and contain more information and are used in leaflet distribution to advertise top end services and products.

Facebook is becoming the fastest growing social network site on the internet. presenting companies new opportunities to target users in virtually any demographic area.

You have seen how you can possibly double, triple, even quadruple your traffic and your sales and completely dominate this marketing scene. The money you stand to earn by becoming a facebook marketing genius is outstanding.

It seems that some people think that these social ads (pay per click or pay per 1000 impressions) are the secret to this type marketing. Well maybe not, facebook users spend an average of 30 minutes a day interacting with friends in their social network.

Facebook is now the largest photo sharing website globally with these amazing statistics. No matter what business you are in, you will learn how to create bottom-up, viral facebook marketing programs that achieve maximum results at minimum cost.

Your networking can drive large amounts of free targeted traffic to your site and generate a considerable buzz to your sites for FREE. Facebook is different than other social networking sites so you must learn and know the proper way to market there. The Pages are publicly indexable and quickly rise to the top of many search queries. I actually think they are doing a good job at integrating the business sign-up area as opposed to mySpace.

Facebook is becoming one of the most important social networks on the web. they now have 42 million users, and they are smart, affluent, internet-savvy people whom marketers can no longer ignore.

Facebook has recently been thrown open to third-party developers, who create applications that can be displayed in user profiles and pages. They have recently added ad analytics, and they are improving all the time. This is a resource that will only continue to grow in the coming months and years.

Facebooks expansion is predicted to eventually surpass myspace’s and when that happens, you already want to have your monetization in place. Generating a spider web of backlinks. Just recently google has started indexing their pages, profile pages, and marketplace listings.

Out of all these people you see using facebook everyday guess who is not on there trying to figure out how to use the social graph and the same people that have not caught on to the social marketing phenomenon are your competitors. creating what is called the social graph. Just the thought of tackling the facebook learning curve can be a daunting task,

Social ads tie into the actions that users perform on facebook. Social ads are the key to effective social marketing, but only if used properly. The good ole days are back let me make one thing crystal clear, and it is that social media and social networking are here too stay.

All that can be said is that getting started today may just turn out to be the best return on investment you will ever see in your business. Open your facebook account now if you have not already done so.

Get started as soon as possible with your social marketing, you should bring it to life now and start doing business there and meeting new friends. Are you harnessing its immense potential to make your business generate greater revenues?

There are a ton of social media websites that you can participate in today like linked in and friendster, and they all have their good and bad. Remember when you first heard about RSS or social media.

There is a lot of information about the facebook benefits and how you can gain not only friends but also a very good income. These members do not become friends of a page, however, they become fans.

The bigger your circle of friends, the greater will be your reach and the more effective the marketing efforts. Start using a few that you find interesting and then invite your friends to use the ones that you enjoy.

Leaflet Distribution From The Skies - How To Reach The Enemy
By Dominic Donaldson

The term ‘Spin Doctor’ has been with us now for many decades and since the 1980’s it has gradually become more and more a part of everyday language. Although the term is relatively new the actual role of a Spin Doctor can be traced back centuries in one form or another.

Many Spin Doctors do not appreciate the analogy between spin and propaganda but it is undoubtedly there. Where they differ is in the way they represent the truth. Propaganda has often been used to disseminate lies and false information for a political gain whereas spin is concerned with making the most from and highlighting the best aspects of the truth that are most flattering to a political message or idea.

Propaganda comes in many guises but at its heart is the principle that information is spread across as far an area as possible with the aim of influencing the behaviour and attitudes of large groups of people. One fo the most well known and effective forms of propaganda in the last century has been leaflet distribution and in particular airborne leaflet distribution.

Airborne leaflet distribution is used by governments in times of conflict. It has been used in several wars including World War II and more recently in the Iraq conflict. A government’s military uses its air force to deliver leaflets over enemy territory. The operation involves producing an appropriate leaflet for the leaflet distribution campaign and then dropping thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands of leaflets from the sky.

The leaflet is aimed at making the person finding it and reading it aware of things they might not know or clarifying things they may have heard of as rumours. The wording and imagery are very important and their may be several factors to consider when creating the leaflet.

In some countries symbolism may be more important than words so this might be emphasised. This would be particularly important when dealing with countries where illiteracy is high. There is no point in send a written message to people who cannot read. In other cases the use of colour might be important. In most case though the words will be important so it is vital to get them right, especially where a foreign language or unfamiliar dialect is involved.

This type of propaganda linked leaflet distribution is focused on one of two things; making the enemy retreat and ultimately surrender or influencing a population and preparing them for the arrival of troops. There are several well known instances of this.

In World War II the Axis powers embarked on a campaign of leaflet distribution over occupied Europe where they knew there were large numbers of German Troops. A leaflet was designed to put doubt into the minds of the German troops. It included news of air raids, bombing schedules and allied forces plans to take key European cities. It also scandalised the Nazi regime and accused key officials of benefitting from the war. All the information it contained had elements of truth but it greatly exaggerated the truth. That is why it was so successful.

During the Korean War leaflet distribution and its ties to propaganda became stronger and smarter. So much so that during the Vietnam War it was used to reach large areas of the country that could no be accessed by normal means. I recent years, because it is so successful, it has been used by terrorist groups as a way of getting their message across.

The ultimate aim of this approach to propaganda is to reach as many people as possible while at the same time bypassing any government or military forces who would try to stop such messages reaching a mass audience.

Reason #5 for not (internet marketing strategies) making $100,000 in Your Business

November 21st, 2008 admin Posted in marketing | No Comments »

By Justin Lukasavige

Marketing to yourself instead of your target market

Picture yourself as a business owner with a problem. You have a problem because your company, which has been successful in the past, has been experiencing a downturn. If you are a business owner you probably do not have to use much imagination because this business owner is probably you.

When you begin to analyze the reasons of a downturn in business it is very easy to blame the economy. “All businesses are doing bad, just look at the economy!” I hear this one all too often. But what if we thought different? What if, instead of blaming the economy for our business downturn, we embrace it and actually use a slowing economy to our benefit? What would it look like for your business to be thriving in a down period?

That is exactly what I have been coaching business owners to do. In fact, I think that now is a great time to start a business. You heard it right. Instead of blaming external factors, how about we embrace them!

If the economy has changed, that’s perfectly ok. If your business is suffering now, the market has somehow changed. My question to you is what have you not changed either your marketing plan or your entire business model to keep up with the change? If you are not marketing to consumers who need your product or service then in the long run, you are really only marketing to yourself. I for one am willing to bet that you will not be able to purchase enough from your company to stay in business. Why not change?

Saving Google Adsense Account from Click Fraud
By aditi0004

If you trawl through the AdSense message boards you cant help but come across tales of woe from AdSense publishers that have had their account banned by Google.

Below is a list of ways people have been banned from AdSense and information on how to avoid it happening to you.

Dont click on your own ads

The obvious one but still people do it. For more results go to www.adsense-income-exposed.com. Google has the IP address of the computer/s that youve used to create and check your AdSense account. If it sees that this IP address clicks one of your ads you are in trouble.

Dont do it. Its theft. Not from Google but from the AdWords advertisers.

If you want to go to a site advertised by one of your ads dont click on it look at the URL of the advertising site at the bottom of the ad and type it into your browser.

If you click on one accidentally (which does happen) youre probably be ok but its worth dropping a quick email to Google with an explanation and apology

Dont log in to AdSense from a shared computer.

As I said above Google keeps a record of every machine IP address used to look at your account. If you check your stats on a machine then someone else clicks on your ads from the same machine Google sees this as click fraud. Worth bearing in mind when thinking of checking your stats from somewhere like an Internet Caf.

Dont log in to your AdSense account from work.

Apart from getting in trouble with the company that employs you there is also a further real risk. Most companies use a proxy server to access the Internet. A proxy server with ONE IP ADDRESS. Therefore you checking your ads from work means this proxy IP address being recorded by Google as one that you use. Problem is if there are 1000 people in your company it is the same IP address for them too. Google cant differentiate between you and the other 999 employees in your company. If one of these 999 clicks on one of your ads its ban time.

Dont get into click your ads if you click mine agreement with another Webmaster.

As above Google will have your IP address and that of every AdSense publisher. If they see these IP addresses consistently clicking on each other ads its goodbye for both of you.

Dont tell friends and family.

Telling friends and family about your money making websites can lead to problems. Even if you tell them not to click on your ads there is always the chance that Auntie Maud will think it is a good idea to make some extra money for her favorite nephew. You can also visit us at www.instant-adsense-dollars.com. 100 clicks later from the same visitor and your account is screaming Click Fraud.

Receiving clicks from illegal traffic

Check the AdSense TOS for sources of traffic that arent allowed by Google. These include methods like Traffic exchange, PTC advertising, Auto surf etc.

Do monitor your visitor and AdSense figures

Check your account at least once a day. If you see a massive spike coupled with a massive increase in Page CTR investigate using your visitor stats website. If you see its all come from the same IP address you could have been the victim of a malicious attack inform Google via email and offer them access to your logs.
